Sectors
Six kinds of site.
A distribution centre and a household have almost nothing in common except that both are throwing away material somebody else would pay for. What we deliver, and how often we come, changes completely.
Shopping complexes
Cardboard is the whole story. Every tenant unpacks stock, and the volume is large, constant and predictable enough to plan a cadence around. The problem is almost never volume. It is that the bin room fills on a Saturday and nobody can get to it until Monday.
We place cages in the service yard rather than the bin room itself, so a swap does not depend on somebody unlocking a door, and we set the cadence off your busiest day rather than an average.
- Dominant stream
- OCC
- Where cages stand
- Service yard, behind the bin room
- What to watch
- Tenants who will not flatten boxes

Factories and warehouses
Usually the highest-value mix of any site we look at, and usually the one going out mixed. Off-cuts, packaging film, strapping and steel are all separately saleable and all routinely lost together.
These sites are also where on-site sorting earns its cost, because the material is concentrated and the contamination risk is one careless bin rather than a hundred people.
- Dominant stream
- LDPE / FE
- Where cages stand
- Loading bay and off-cut area
- What to watch
- High-value film going out with general waste

Distribution centres
Pallet wrap, cartons and shrink film all day, at a throughput that makes a fixed weekly visit the wrong shape of service. What these sites need is a swap cadence tied to actual volume.
Cages go in beside the outbound docks where the wrap comes off, not at the perimeter where nobody will walk to them.
- Dominant stream
- OCC / CLR
- Where cages stand
- Beside the outbound docks
- What to watch
- Volume spikes around month end

Corporate parks and offices
White paper is the valuable stream and the one most often shredded into worthlessness or thrown out with the coffee cups. Offices are also where secure destruction matters, because some of that paper must not be recycled at all.
We run those as two separate arrangements on the same site, so the confidential material never touches the saleable paper stream.
- Dominant stream
- WP
- Where cages stand
- Basement or refuse room
- What to watch
- Confidential paper in the recycling cage

Farms
Feed bags, drums, crates, packaging and film, generated across distance rather than at one door. The fix is consolidation: one place where it all accumulates, and a cage big enough that we are not driving out for half a load.
Cadence on a farm is seasonal rather than weekly, so we set it around planting and harvest instead of pretending the volume is flat.
- Dominant stream
- PP / MIX
- Where cages stand
- One consolidation point
- What to watch
- Distance between generation points

Residential estates and body corporates
Household separation only happens when it is easier than not separating. Bags for every unit and a cage residents walk past on the way to the general bin do more work than any circular to owners.
Expect a mixed stream at first and expect it to improve over the first few months. That improvement is the thing worth reporting to your trustees.
- Dominant stream
- MIX
- Where cages stand
- Alongside the general bins
- What to watch
- Contamination in the first months

Cadence is always set at the assessment from your actual throughput. These are the patterns we see most often.
Before you call us
Three things worth checking first. They decide whether we can help you and what it costs.
Can a truck reach the spot
The single thing that stops a site working. A hook-lift needs room to reverse and clearance overhead to tip. A perfect cage position a truck cannot get to is not a position.
Will you fill a cage
A cage standing half empty for a month costs you money and is a cage we could have placed where it was needed. If your volume is low, say so and we will look at a shared cadence.
Who owns it on your side
Separation schemes fail when nobody internally is responsible. One named person who can tell a tenant to flatten boxes matters more than any equipment we bring.
Multi-site groups
If you manage several properties, the useful thing is not a better rate per site. It is one arrangement, one cadence to reason about, and material figures that add up across the portfolio instead of arriving in six different formats.
Tell us how many sites and roughly where they are, and we will be straight about how many we can carry properly at our current fleet size.
Current capacity
Twenty-two cages and two trucks, working Pretoria and Gauteng. We would rather serve a portfolio well than spread thin across one we cannot swap on time.
Which one is your site?
Half an hour on your premises answers it better than any page can.
